Not to be missed: state-of-the-art solutions to identify people and products

SICUR, Madrid, Spain, 23-26 February 2016, Stand 10G19

The very latest in identification solutions will be demonstrated at the SICUR show on the stand of ID card manufacturer Databac Group. Key among these are its high-security ID badges, the market’s leading card printers and the newest advances in RFID reader technology.

Matica card personalisation systems

As Authorised Value Added Distributor of Matica Technologies, Databac will be highlighting its card printing equipment. These include the new EDIsecure® XID8600 retransfer card printer, offering 600dpi print resolution, UV security and micro text print capability. For high-security applications, visitors will be able to see the LCP8000 colour laser personalisation system in action. This can print in high-definition colour, as well as laminate, encode and laser-engrave, to produce the most secure and durable ID cards. The latest release is the XL8300, which allows oversize ID badges to be printed at the larger size of 85.6mm x 124mm.

Demonstrations will of rewritable card printing be given using Databac’s own Data ReWrite card, which can be printed and reprinted up to 400 times.

RFID solutions

For the first time in Spain, Databac will showcase Third Millennium’s high-tech RFID readers. These excellent devices are available from 125KHz (EM, HID) and 13.56MHz (Mifare, Legic, DESfire), to dual-technology and SE (secure envelope), where data on the card and readers is secured using 3DES triple-layer encryption. Outputs include Wiegand, clock and data and RS232. Featuring a sleek design and the ability for on-the-spot programming, these readers are the favourite of many large corporations, with thousands sold every week.

Databac has been manufacturing ID credentials for over 45 years, incorporating RF and other technologies. Besides readers, the company will be showing its full range of RFID cards, wristbands, labels, tickets and tags. Block IT, Databac’s contactless card protector, will demonstrate how data on RFID cards can be safeguarded simply yet securely from theft and accidental payment.

Cards and accessories

Databac’s complete range of cards and wearing accessories will give visitors plenty of inspiration on how they can be put to use. This full, global overview of ID solutions makes a visit to the Databac stand a must for anyone interested in identification.
