World BORDERPOL Congress Agency Workshops
The World BORDERPOL Congress aims to promote enhanced inter-agency co-operation and information sharing amongst border forces, that will benefit the security of the all nations.
This years event, border agencies and agencies at the border will benefit from ‘Closed Agency Workshops’, a series of ‘behind closed door’ discussion and working group opportunities, hosted by Border Force UK.
Closed Workshop Programme includes:
- Integrated Border Management
- Facilitation of Low Risk Travelers
- Inter-agency co-operation, Information sharing and Interoperability
- Securing borders against organized crime and concealed human trafficking

UK border police 'to consider entry' for Syrian refugees waiting in Calais
British border police have agreed to consider allowing Syrians who are blocking a gangway at Calais ferry port to enter the UK “on a case by case basis”, after the refugees refused to budge unless they win asylum in Britain.
