ASEAN – ISRAEL SECURITY SUMMIT
February 21, 2017 - Hotel Arnoma Grand, Bangkok
The ASEAN-ISRAEL SECURITY SUMMIT is aimed to be a thought leadership & business networking platform that brings together the various stakeholders in the Cyber & Homeland Security ecosystem for an exchange of ideas, best practices and explore business collaborations & tie-ups. The ASEAN – ISRAEL SECURITY SUMMIT (AISS) is an initiative to bring the cutting edge cyber security & homeland security solutions from Israel for possible collaborations and tieups with companies in South East Asia. The 1-day Summit to be hosted in Bangkok, Thailand will have parallel tracks on Cyber Security & Homeland Security as well as an exhibition by the participating companies from Israel and other parts of South & South East Asia.
The Summit will provide opportunity to understand the new technologies being implemented in these areas and also enable collaborations and long-term business partnerships for interested companies.
Conceptualised, organised and hosted by Singapore-based Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd (BERG) (www.bizexcellence.com.sg) and Tel Aviv-based IBO Connection Group Ltd (www.ibo-group.co.il), the Summit will provide the appropriate environment for a purely B2B interaction and exploration of business possibilities amongst the different entities as well as stakeholders from both the private sector and government organisations in the region.
Cyber Security has become a national priority for governments and organisations across the world, including the financial and industrial sectors. Many businesses have now begun to recognize that there is no “silver bullet” technology solution that can meet all their Cyber Security needs. Never before has it been more important for enterprises to adopt a multi-layered security approach to protect their valuable information assets. Securing the Homeland against a hostile environment involves proper management of borders, which is vital to the national security. This also presents many challenges and includes coordination and concerted action by the administrative, diplomatic, security, intelligence, legal, regulatory and economic agencies of the country.
The Summit is being supported by the Thai-Israel Chamber of Commerce. A delegation of Israel-based security companies will be participating in addition to others from SE Asia & India.
