In its 5th year, this industry survey assesses trends and developments in the biometrics industry. The results of the survey will provide some projections and expectations for the performance of the industry in the coming year and reveal areas for development and research.
The survey can be accessed at the following website.
The survey is being circulated to all members of the Biometrics Institute and other key stakeholders. Members of the Biometrics Institute will receive a free copy of the full report through the website at www.biometricsinstitute.org, others can request an executive summary.
"The biometrics industry is going through some interesting changes with some of the innovation seemingly coming from outside the industry", Isabelle Moeller, Chief Executive of the Biometrics Institute explains, "so it will be interesting to capture the thinking of the biometrics world and gauge personal levels of uptake".
"This year therefore includes some revised and new questions to better reflect the changing market place for biometrics, plus we have added some more personal questions a the end."
Findings will be presented at the following:
- Biometrics Institute Asia-Pacific Conference, 28-29 May 2014 in Sydney - interim findings
