EAB- RPC Research Project Conference

Herewith we would like to kindly invite you to register for the 4th edition of the EAB Research Projects Conference (EAB-RPC) on the 18th and 19th of September 2017, at the premises of Fraunhofer IGD in Darmstadt, Germany. This is a unique chance to attend the largest event on research funded by the European Union in the area of Biometrics and
Identity Management.

This year's edition will include the participation of numerous EU-funded research projects, such as: FastPass and iBorderCtrl. The conference will include a round-table presenting a "Meeting the end-users needs" with the participation from FRONTEX, eu-LISA and ENFSI. Also you shouldn’t miss the keynotes by eu-LISA, FRONTEX and DGHOME.

All the projects in the conference are engaged in one of the objectives driving the Union's policy development in order to reach a more secure society (EC COM(2011) 809 final): fight crime, illegal trafficking and terrorism; strengthen security through border management; provide cyber security; increase Europe's resilience to crises and
disasters; ensure privacy and freedom including the internet and enhance the societal dimension of security; enhance standardization and interperability of systems.
